I know I'll probably get flamed for this, but here's my reaction to the whole AI debate raging here.
I've been on this forum for the better part of 20 years, so I've seen a lot of different content as well as debates about what should or shouldn't be posted here. Throughout all this time, Ninja has let this place operate pretty freely without heavy-handed moderation and definitely no pre-approval.
If you look at Ninja's Terms of Use, it says:
"Do not post anything that is off-topic.
This being a 'long hair forum', it shouldn't be too hard to figure out what on-topic is."
Yet, somehow there's now a debate about whether this forum should be limited to "reality" -- whatever that is. For years we've had occasional posts of illustrated and animated hair and hairjobs, yet I don't recall anyone saying that only real pictures of real long-haired women should be posted.
The fact is that for many of us, including me, this is mostly fantasy. We're never going to meet Foxy Anya or any of the "instaboners" whose pictures get posted here, let alone have a relationship with them. For those who do have relationships with real, long-haired women and who post content here, thank you! But I don't see how AI creates a disincentive to do that. In a world where there are fakes, the real stuff becomes even more valuable.
I'm fine with the AI posts and agree they ought to be labeled.
